How to Admit an Occupant

Property Managers can admit an occupant to an estate unit from the unit-management workflow.

When an occupant is admitted, Rytche associates the occupant with the selected unit.

Before you begin

Make sure that:

  • You are managing the correct estate.
  • The unit has already been added to the estate.
  • You have the occupant's full name.
  • You have the occupant's email address.

Start the admission process

  1. Open the estate.
  2. Select Units Management Board.
  3. Find the unit you want to assign.
  4. Select the unit's Admit option.
  5. The Admit Occupant page opens.

The selected estate and unit information are displayed on the page.

Enter occupant information

The Occupant Information section contains the occupant's information.

Full Name

Enter the occupant's full name in the Full Name (First Middle Last) field.

Email Address

Enter the occupant's email address.

Use the occupant's correct email address because it may be used for account and tenancy-related communication.

Review the assigned unit

The Unit Assigned section displays information about the unit being assigned.

The information shown includes:

  • Type
  • Address
  • Fee

Review these details before completing the admission.

Always confirm that the displayed unit is the unit you intend to assign before selecting Admit Occupant.

Admit the occupant

After reviewing the occupant and unit information:

  1. Confirm the occupant's full name.
  2. Confirm the email address.
  3. Confirm the assigned unit.
  4. Select Admit Occupant.

Rytche processes the admission and associates the occupant with the selected unit.

After admission

After an occupant has been admitted, you can manage the occupant from Occupants Management Board.
